Position Overview
Citrus Cardiology Consultants is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Ocala and the surrounding Central Florida region. This role includes a balanced mix of outpatient clinic responsibilities, inpatient cardiovascular consultation, and interventional cardiology procedures across affiliated HCA and AdventHealth hospitals in Ocala.
Key responsibilities/services include:
- Diagnostic coronary angiography and cardiac catheterization
- Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Management of acute coronary syndromes and STEMI/NSTEMI patients
- Complex coronary interventions based on training and interest
- Peripheral vascular/interventional procedures based on training and interest
- Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations
- Pre- and post-procedure cardiovascular management
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams for complex patients
The incoming physician will work within a collaborative cardiovascular environment alongside non-invasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, peripheral vascular specialists, structural heart specialists, CT surgeons, APPs, and dedicated support staff across both clinic and hospital settings.
This opportunity also includes optional faculty involvement with the ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship Program in partnership with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and HCA Healthcare.
Shared call responsibilities provide strong physician support and work-life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, productivity bonuses, additional incentives, academic stipend opportunities, comprehensive benefits package, and partnership/equity opportunities.

Qualifications
- Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
- Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology fellowship training programs
- MD or DO
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Fellowship training and demonstrated clinical experience in coronary intervention and cardiac catheterization
- Experience with diagnostic coronary angiography and PCI
- Ability to manage acute coronary syndromes and other complex cardiovascular conditions
- Additional training or experience in peripheral vascular intervention, structural heart, or complex coronary intervention preferred based on practice needs
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and quality outcomes
- Eligible for H-1B and J1 physician waiver sponsorship
