Village Heart & Vein is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient cardiovascular care in Lady Lake, Florida.

Work alongside experienced cardiologists and an established APP team in a physician-led practice. This position offers clinical autonomy with collaborative support and a weekday schedule without call, weekends, or major holidays.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, fully outpatient cardiology

• Monday–Friday clinic schedule

• No call, weekend coverage, or major holidays

• Collaborative team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiovascular evaluations and routine follow-up visits

• Manage conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, and atrial fibrillation

• Review EKGs, cardiac testing, imaging, and laboratory findings

• Prescribe and adjust medications while monitoring treatment response

• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with cardiologists

• Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and ongoing care

• Counsel patients on medications, cardiovascular conditions, and heart-healthy lifestyle changes

Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Active Florida license or ability to obtain one before starting

• Previous cardiology experience as an APP preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
