Position Overview
As we continue to grow, TCAVI is seeking a patient-centered Advanced Practice Provider (APP)—either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)—with a strong interest or background in cardiology. This role will be based primarily in our Gainesville offices and affiliated hospital settings.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in both clinic and acute care settings.
Manage and evaluate assigned office patients; order diagnostic tests, manage prescriptions, and refer as appropriate.
Collaborate closely with physicians and other APPs on hospital consults and rounds.
Conduct patient histories, perform documentation, order tests, and manage medications.
Supervise stress tests and manage additional orders as required.
Maintain accurate, timely care documentation.
Stay current with CME, licensure, and hospital privileges.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, with a 4-day workweek option available.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program; Board Certification required.
Cardiology experience preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient satisfaction and teamwork.
