Practice Manager – Florida Heart and Vascular

Florida Heart and Vascular is seeking a high-performing Practice Manager to oversee daily operations for 1–2 cardiology office locations and support practice-wide growth initiatives. This role requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and understands the operational demands of advanced cardiovascular care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations of assigned offices, ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional patient experience.
  • Oversee front office, clinical support teams, and diagnostic ancillaries including SPECT, echocardiography, and PET/CT.
  • Manage and scale practice projects, including setting up new office locations, coordinating buildouts, establishing workflows, and preparing teams for go-live.
  • Create, maintain, and enforce SOPs, policies, and procedures across sites.
  • Partner with billing and administrative teams on revenue cycle improvement efforts.
  • Leverage AthenaOne for scheduling, workflows, reporting, and operational optimization.
  • Support provider scheduling, templates, productivity metrics, and overall clinic efficiency.
  • Apply core HR skills: hiring, onboarding, coaching, corrective action, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with leadership on practice-wide initiatives and operational improvements.

Qualifications
  • Healthcare practice management experience required; cardiology strongly preferred.
  • Experience with AthenaOne (clinical + practice management).
  • Understanding of cardiology diagnostics (SPECT, echo, PET/CT).
  • Proven ability to manage projects and lead new office setup from planning through launch.
  • Strong operational leadership and staff oversight skills.
  • Experience with SOP development and standardization.
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle processes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and service-driven leadership qualities.
Education
College degree preferred but not required
