Position Overview
The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Gainesville and the surrounding Central Florida region. This role includes a balanced mix of outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient consultative care across affiliated hospitals in Gainesville.
Key responsibilities/services include:
- Echocardiography (TTE/TEE)
- Nuclear cardiology
- PET CT
- Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring (CACS)
- Stress testing and cardiovascular diagnostics
- Preventive cardiology and medication management
- Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations
The incoming physician will collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, heart failure specialists, APPs, and dedicated support staff across clinic and hospital settings.
Additional opportunities include:
- Participation in federally approved clinical research trials
- Support of local residency and educational programs
- Growth within advanced imaging and PET/CT services
Shared call responsibilities supported by APPs provide strong physician support and work-life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits package, additional incentives, sign-on and relocation support, and partnership/equity opportunities.
