Position Overview
A growing, physician-led cardiovascular practice is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its cardiology team.
This opportunity offers a combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, allowing the incoming APP to participate in the evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. The APP will work closely with cardiologists, fellow advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Key responsibilities include:
Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
Conduct new patient consultations and established patient follow-up visits
Participate in inpatient rounding and hospital-based cardiovascular care
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the cardiologists
Order and review laboratory studies, cardiac imaging, and diagnostic testing
Review and interpret ECGs, ambulatory monitors, and other cardiovascular studies
Manage cardiovascular medications and monitor patient response to treatment
Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, and lifestyle modifications
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other members of the clinical team
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across both hospital and outpatient clinic settings and will value collaboration, continuity of care, and long-term patient relationships.

Qualifications
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Current national board certification
Eligible for state licensure and prescriptive authority
Cardiology or relevant acute care experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
