Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding team. This role offers a dynamic blend of clinic-based care with structured, manageable hospital responsibilities.

• Full-time, permanent position
• Primary location: St. Augustine clinic + affiliated hospital
• Mix of outpatient cardiology and limited inpatient coverage
• Collaborative, team-based care model

Schedule & Call Structure

• Weekdays (Clinic): Monday–Friday outpatient schedule
• Weekend Call: Shared rotation with another APP
  • Inpatient consults and rounding (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Monday off following weekend call
• Weeknight Call:
  • Remote coverage from 6 PM – 8 AM
  • No in-person requirement
  • Includes patient calls, coordination, and next-day handoff

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in the outpatient setting
• Evaluate patients, manage medications, and develop care plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing (EKGs, imaging, labs, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists across subspecialties
• Participate in inpatient consults, rounding, and follow-up care
• Coordinate care across clinic and hospital settings
• Ensure accurate documentation and high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Active, unrestricted Florida license (or ability to obtain)
• Cardiology experience preferred, but not required
• Open to new graduates with strong interest in cardiology
• Solid understanding of clinical workflows, documentation, and patient care standards
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
