Bay Area Cardiology Associates, a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiovascular team serving the Greater Tampa Bay area.

This position offers a dynamic blend of outpatient and inpatient cardiology, allowing providers to work closely with an established team of Cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular conditions and procedures.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time APP position
  • Locations include Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, Sun City Center, and affiliated hospitals
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • Shared weekend rotation approximately once per month
  • Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital responsibilities
  • Collaborative physician and APP team environment

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage cardiology patients in both clinic and hospital settings
  • Conduct patient assessments, follow-up visits, and hospital rounding
  • Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Manage medications and specialty referrals
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Participate in cardiovascular care across a variety of subspecialties and practice settings

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active Florida license or ability to obtain
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Interest in cardiovascular medicine and collaborative practice
